OVERNIGHT TO MANALI VIA AC VOLVO BUS

Day 1: Short drive from Manali to Jagatsukh. Trek to Boggi thatch (2-3 hours, 2400 meters)

30 min drive from Manali to Jagatsukh (12 km). A short walk takes us to the village of Bhanara, our first stop on the trail. Visit a local himachali household and stop for chai. Continue walking to Nag mandir (temple), constructed in vernacular himachali style. A short walk above the temple takes us to Boggi Thatch (meadow), our campsite for the night.

Day 2: Trek to Saraha Baggi. (3 hours, 3048 meters)

Walk the trail which goes through Oak and Deodar forest as you slowly ascend the mountain. We come across several meadows/ clearings in the forest as the views of mount hanuman Tibba open up. Shepherds since long have used these trails and meadows to sustain herds of sheep as they eventually walk over to Lahaul and Spiti valleys.

Days 3: Trek to Sarotu (4 hours, 3100 meters)

The trails start of with a relatively steep ascent as you enter thickets of rhododendrons before you arrive at a shepherd meadow. The morning views of the snow clad dhauladhars are spectacular and they keep you company most of the way today. Our campsite is a vast meadow overlooking these mountains. After lunch we will have the option to either make a side trip to a view point

Day 4: Trek to Doggu Dugg  and return to Sarotu (5 hours, 3950 meters)

An exciting day that takes you from your campsite to viewpoint with panoramic views of the himalayas. The peaks of Indrasan, Deo Tibba, Hanuman Tibba and so many others seems close enough to touch from here.

Day 5: Trek to Jobri (2-3 hours, Drive to Manali 2 hours)
