DAY 1: HIKE FROM BILLING TO RAJGUNDA CAMSITE
From Billing you start your hike (9kms) to the campsite, through a Rhododendron and Oak forest. It’s an easy walk, which gives you a chance to enjoy the cool mountain air and the enchanted forest. The campsite itself is perched on a small hill and not visible from the trail. With views of Bir town down in the valley below on one side and the towering Dhauladhar mountains on the other side, its likely that you may just stand and stare as your senses try and take in the beauty of the landscape!
Tonight you will camp under a unfathomably clear night sky! On a clear night you can sip your cup of soup and stare at the milky way and just forget the world as you know it. Dinner and overnight camping in dome tents.
DAY 2: RETURN TO JYOTI NIWAS (Guest House)
After breakfast walk back to billing. On arrival you have a choice – either take a taxi straight to Jyoti Niwas or parasail down to Bir town and then cab it to Jyoti Niwas.
DAY 3 RETURN HOME:
Breakfast. Departure.
